Many years ago I found myself in quite a predicament. I managed to accumulate thousands of dollars of debt and was living paycheck to paycheck, making minimum payments on credit cards and not making a dent in the debt I owed. Although I had a good paying job at the time, it wasn't enough to get ahead of my debt.
